Refunds and Exchanges

Australian Opal and Gems want our customers to be 100% satisfied and in love with their products, if for any reason a refund or exchange is wanted please contact us regarding a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase and we will determine if you are accepted for return or exchange. After this date we do not accept refunds. If the product being exchanged is out of stock, the exchange time period is extended 14 days from the day the product is back in stock to complete the exchange.

 Please note we do not accept refunds or exchanges when:

  • For any crystals or fossils
  • Items are not in their original condition i.e. have been worn, used, damaged or are sent without original packaging.
  • Outside the specified timeframe
  • Please note we do not issue refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
  • earrings
  • special, custom or made to order items.

Returns are at the expense of our customers and under their responsibility until the goods are successfully delivered to Australian Opals and Gems.

'As New Condition' means that the item must not have been worn; the item must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. Determination of an item matching the definition of 'As New Condition' is at the sole discretion of Australian Opal and Gems.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too
